Le comte Henri d’Udekem d’Acoz, le frère de la reine Mathilde, s’est marié ce week-end en Normandie avec la femme qui partage sa vie depuis plusieurs années. La famille royale belge était là presque au grand complet pour assister à l’évènement.
Le frère cadet de la reine Mathilde, le comte Charles-Henri d’Udekem d’Acoz s’est marié ce week-end à l’église de Pont-l’Évêque en Normandie. La reine Mathilde est l’aînée de la fratrie. Outre son frère, elle a aussi trois autres sœurs. Marie-Alix, décédée en 1997 dans un accident de voiture, en même temps que sa grand-mère, la princesse Zofia Sapieha, Elisabeth, 45 ans, Hélène, 42 ans. Charles-Henri, 37 ans, était le dernier célibataire de la famille.

La famille presque au grand complet
L’occasion pour le roi et la reine et trois de leurs enfants (Élisabeth, 20 ans, Emmanuel, 16 ans, et Éléonore, 14 ans) de faire le déplacement. Seul le prince Gabriel manquait à l’appel puisqu’il avait dû rester à l’école Royale militaire pour un entrainement. La reine était vêtue tout en vert d’une robe-cape pour le mariage de son frère. Celui-ci est avocat de profession, spécialisé en urbanisme. Sa femme, Caroline Philippe, travaille dans un cabinet de conseil en investissement éthique situé à Bruxelles. Ils sont ensemble depuis plusieurs années.
